Brief description of Amlohri Project

Amlohri block is located in the southern western part of moher basin of Singrauli coalfields. Moher block lies on its west and Nigahi block in east.The feasability study prepared by CMPDI with participation of Russian experts in 1974 had identified Amlohri open cast mine with rated capacity of 10 MT/year of coal.The report was based on the available geological information in April 1982 for an initial capital investment of Rs.323.32 crore and was sanctioned by the government of India on 25 June 1982.

  • Installation of 2 RO Plants at Dasauti & Kachani
  • 153 hand pumps already installed in Amlori CSR Catchment area and 203 hand pumps to be installed in Sidhi is in pipeline.
  • Construction of 1 hostel for Children with Special Needs at Waidhan Tehsil.
  • Construction of 5 Aaganwadi in Waidhan Tehsil.
  • Construction of 3.5 Km RCC Road at Village Jaraha
  • Promotion of Rural sports like Kabaddi, Volleyball, Football & Karate at Amjhar, Bharuha, Nandgaon village grounds wherein 500 plus players participated.
  • Electrification of Government School at Amlori Basti Ward No. 45 on solar energy.
  • 2 community halls constructed at Village Hirrawah & Pachore
  • Transform Singruali: 2 Health Camps conducted at Village Chitarbai Kala & Gaderiya
  • Workshop for women's rights & workshop to stop violence against housewives at Katauli & Teldah.
  • Jachcha bachcha health competition at Teldah.
  • 400 hours of special classes to enhance learning outcomes have been given to 160 students.
  • 6 counseling sessions conducted at different areas of Panchayats.
  • Children's Park developed in Amlori township.
  • CISF Colony to be inaugurated in 2018-19 in Amlori Township.
